In this second concert, Sillages will offer an exquisite evening of chamber music. In Pieter Bruegel’s famous painting, which represents an opposing struggle –whose literary equivalent could be the battle between the Lentpregnant and the Blackpudding’s Army of the Fourth Book of François Rabelais- is inspired by Mauro Lanza (Venice, 1975) to compose this work for cello and piano. With the same training we will hear the rabid, aesthetic and political manifest of Raphaël Cendo (Milan, 1956), Furia. Also the exploration of the light that goes by Luca Francesconi (Milan, 1956) in Animus II for viola and electronics. And at last, the second quartet of the Mexican maestro Torres Maldonado (Chetumal, Quintana Roo 1968) based on Canto V by Altazor de Huidobro.
