“On the occasion of the exhibition Jeff Wall. The Crooked Path, curated by Joel Benzakin and organized by the Center for Fine Arts of Brussels (Bozar) in collaboration with the CGAC, the VERTIXE SONORA ENSEMBLE invited five international composers to establish a dialogue about the work and thought of the Canadian artist, one of the most influential in the field of photography in recent decades. The response was enthusiastic and the program we are presenting today —one more chapter in the long and fruitful tradition of mutual feedback between visual and musical arts— is the result of that effort”
